Applications open for ICL Board of Directors!
The Idaho Conservation League’s nearly 8,000 members make up a conservation community dedicated to protecting the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the lands and wildlife we love. Like all nonprofit organizations, ICL is governed by a Board of Directors, who provide guidance and contribute to ICL’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability. Primarily, these individuals have a responsibility to ensure that ICL operates effectively and efficiently. Board members also serve as ambassadors and advocates for ICL in their communities and across the state. They are dedicated ICL members, who believe in our mission and support our values. They bring a variety of skills and life experiences to the board, commit time and energy including attendance at quarterly board meetings, and serve on at least one committee. Each year, as board members complete their terms, the current board is tasked with seeking new board member candidates. ICL Bylaws call for the board to reflect the diversity of our membership, representing all regions of Idaho. Board members may serve for up to three terms of three years each. The ICL Board encourages self-nominations from interested members. If you are interested in being considered for a position on the ICL board, please send a cover letter and CV to icljobs@idahoconservation.org and complete our application form HERE by October 27, 2025.A final slate of board candidates will be presented to the membership for a vote in the spring. New board member terms start in May and last for three years.Megan DixonGovernance Committee Chair, ICL Board of Directors
